The Senate just passed a multi-billion dollar relief plan to help combat the impending economic collapse brought on by the coronavirus outbreak. According to Politico, the bill was quickly passed on Wednesday with the Senate now directing its attention to the larger stimulus package proposed by the Trump administration. Politico also reports that "Treasury Department unveiled to lawmakers a plan for $250 billion in direct payments to Americans starting April 6."
The Republican led senate is expected to begin negotiations with the Democrats on a trillion-dollar stimulus package as early as Wednesday night.
