Rapper Maddness has released his latest album titled “A World of Maddness.” This EP contains five tracks that deliver intense messages to individuals of all backgrounds. His EP is full of music that is inspired by real situations.

One of the songs on his EP titled “Deception” explains how the world is run and how it’s designed. Maddness says. “I’m humble, blunt, street, but passionate about my music. My diverse creativity allows me to expose the hidden truth about life through the ways in which I maneuver accordingly.”

Growing up, L.A. aka Maddness lived a rough life. He was moved between foster homes in a domestic violence environment, but was mainly raised by his grandmother that has blessed him with great values.  Although his birth mother couldn’t be the parental figure in his life, she always in his heart for what she tried to do. Maddness, for the most part, had to learn the do’s and don’ts from the streets the rest of the way. He was inspired musically by Curtis Mayfield, 2Pac, and Michael Jackson. At an early age, music seemed to be a great outlet away from the negativity that he has seen on a daily basis. His neighborhood held talent shows so the aspiring young artists could display their hidden talents. After he saw the reaction of the crowd when he recorded his first song, Maddness became very passionate about his craft.

“I’m humble, blunt, street, but passionate about my music.  My diverse creativity allows me to expose the hidden truth about life through the ways in which I maneuver accordingly,” said Maddness.

At an early age, Maddness won many talent shows and completed his first CD along with several mixtapes. At an event hosted by Steph Luva and DJ Flexx of 93.9 in the 90s, he won a $500 prize at the contest out of approximately 87 contestants at the Crossroads Night Club in Maryland.  Maddness continues to travel throughout the Maryland, DC, and Virginia areas perfecting his performances, but now he is positioning his self to tour around the world to get his brand, Darkcap (Dwelling As Reality Kings Centered Around Poverty) message out to the masses.  The hustle continues as he is led by those that have inspired and mentored him on the path to walk out his higher calling to reach the lost through his music.
