CoolKay is back on the scene with a brand new release: THISSHITFIXED
A brand new release with upbeat arrangements and catchy melodic twist.
January 1, 2020 - Artist and songwriter CoolKay is a versatile and diverse musical performer who set out to create a distinctive sound by blending a wide range of influences. Although this hasn’t been an easy year for artists, CoolKay has still managed to publish something, and reach out to the audience. His most recent studio release, THISSHITFIXED, is a very appealing combination of trap, classic hip-hop vibes, and so much more, highlighting the artist’s incredible ability when it comes to switching things up and avoiding the usual cliches. In addition to reflecting the artist’s kaleidoscopic personality, Legacy is also well-produced and endearing. The sound of this recording is not overly polished, meaning that it allows more of the human qualities of the artist’s performance through, giving the audience a memorable and authentic experience. With such a combination of honest lyrics and creativity, you really cannot go wrong here, especially if you are a fan of timeless and well-produced hip-hop music with a more personal twist and a lot of lyrical depth to make things more interesting and direct.
Find out more about CoolKay, and listen to THISSHITFIXED, which is currently available on all platforms.

Just a few days ago Doug the Plug, who is a fast rising rapper from Inglewood, California, just released “Say What”. His release premiered on Spotify as well as YouTube and so far has been blowing up on the two platforms.
Doug the Plug’s video is top tier quality due to the high budget feel as well as storyline. “Say What” starts out with Money Masss inviting Doug the Plug to pull up to his crib. Once he gets there he’s surrounded by beautiful woman in a nice exotic mansion. In the video Doug the Plug has ice on his wrist and is fitted in the highest fashion which matches the video’s aesthetics. This one is definitely worthy of watching to the end!

CHICAGO THREEZ drops another conscious cocktail BOMB! New Single/Video "OTHER SIDE!" featuring Silence, DJ X-Ray and a remix-loop from Curtis Mayfield! Produced by Riot One for SSMG! Truly another Gold Barz audio and visual classic!!!!!!!!
Featured on Legendary DJ RON G's mixtape "THE NEW TOMORROW"
This song and video is about enlightenment and self-actualization. In Ancient Egypt, Osiris symbolized the innate divinity in man as well as his highest potential. There is an arduous process in realizing this...It usually entails suffering, challenges, setbacks, and disappointments. Yet, when we realize that all of the aforementioned are but instruments utilized by the Universe to force us into who we are destined to become we then understand that there can be no arrival without the struggle. The tallest and most beautiful plants require both sunshine and rain. Hope you enjoy! #CHICAGOTHREEZ
Featured on Legendary DJ RON G's mixtape "GO TIME!"
"I think music reflects the conscience, spirit and conditions of the society which produces it" says Chicago Threez. A gifted emcee, songwriter, and composer from Chicago's Westside. "I always take myself back to adolescence when I was rhyming to be the best at my craft. There was no money, no record deals or videos...It was just pure, raw, competitive and meticulous creativity...In a way there's a void for such music today insofar as Hip Hop, R&B and other urban-based genres are concerned". With a rich cognizance of musical history and geniuses in his heritage such as the late Gavin Christopher( Hit recording artist, producer and songwriter), Chicago Threez embodies what is rare in Hip Hop these days : Pensive content, original concepts, rhyme patterns, storytelling, punchlines, wordplay crafted visuals, and a voice/delivery that immediately pierces through anyone's prior indifference. Add that over the fire of beats by fellow producer and graff artist Riot One from SSMG and you have a formidable combination capable of timeless classics.
"I'm a music junkie....I can hear a Hip Hop loop in any genre instantly because I'm in tune with the culture moreso than the industry....The culture of Hip Hop means everything to me. My generation, (Generation X) is the medium between our ancestors and the youth. It is our duty to perpetuate spiritual truths and musical integrity/excellence as examples and mentors. Black Chicago has a rich musical history and lineage. When I spit, I want it to be in the spirit of Curtis Mayfield, Sam Cooke or Lou Rawls. Yet I'm a purist and a Hip Hop lyricist, so I want to incorporate all the slang, mannerisms and traditions of a Chicagoan within a diverse set of Hip Hop methodologies, styles, and concepts. I felt that by doing this I could separate myself, ideas and brand from others".....Does that sound like someone you'd like to listen to? I know it does for me!
Jake Griffus Tackles Tough Issues On “Candlelight”
California-based lyricist Jake Griffus sees his music as a form of therapy. Delivering conscious bars and covering various topics, he taps into parts of the listener’s mind, helping them through the darkness into the healing light. With a new album on the way, he gets things started with the release of a new single, “Candlelight”.
Produced by Entheogenesis Productions, “Candlelight” finds Jake grapples with heavy topics such as suicidal tendencies and fighting demons. With his unique wordplay, he paints a dark picture of what people are going through, and finds himself trying to help others out of that darkness. Although “Candlelight” is not a typical Hip Hop track, listeners will find themselves hitting rewind to see the vivid pictures Jake Griffus paints. Accompanying the single is a music video that further amplifies his lyrics. “Candlelight” will be featured on Jake’s forthcoming, full-length 2021 release, “The Operator”.
Growing up in Palmdale, California, Jake Griffus’ love for music started at a very early age, as he was exposed to various artists in his neighborhood and in the media. Having difficulties expressing himself, it was Hip Hop that helped him to find his voice and gave him the space to share his thoughts and talent. As a rapper, he saw that his music was like rehab that could assist many who deal with different struggles. As a member of Secondhand Thieves and Entheogenesis Productions, he provides politically charged lyrics, and conscious bars that will find him in good company among many of Hip Hop’s greats.
Jake Griffus’ “Candlelight” is now available on all digital music streaming platforms with distribution through CD Baby. The music video for “Candlelight” is now available for viewing on Secondhand Thieves’ official YouTube channel.

Born in Salem, New Jersey, but raised in Hampton, Virginia, Siani has the hustler's mentality of a big city girl mixed with the sweet charm of a Southern Belle. As the second oldest of four children, Siani spent her youth surrounded by musical and artistic talent. Her father worked as a songwriter and music engineer to help support his family. At home, the sounds of RnB legends like Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Kem, and Carl Thomas always played in the background, helping to form the soundtrack to Siani's life, while subtly influencing her future career decisions. In High School, Siani started to make music for herself as a hobby, but decided to take a more serious approach after receiving positive feedback from friends, family, and music industry professionals who encountered her at local showcases. Siani's more focused efforts started to pay off almost immediately.
In 2017, she was chosen as the "Best Female R&B Singer" at the Virginia Music Awards. After spending time developing her skills and putting together a solid supporting cast, Siani's first official single, "My Way" was released on all streaming platforms in 2019 to rave reviews. Now she's back with her newest single release. “HOTEL” is a raw, soulful, yet energetic narrative of one woman’s desire to have her sexual fantasies fulfilled by her secret lover, with no strings attached.
