Out today through recently relaunched label New Dawn Records, the new single "Smoke Filled Rooms" b/w "Skitzophonetic" by hip hop crew Belles in Monica.

Already on international rotation, "Smoke Filled  Rooms" mixes electronica, turntablism and South Asian flavas to journey into the dark underbelly of the inner city with rhymes depicting a vision of drug squalor hell, while the booming kicks and soaring strings of "Skitzophonetic" provides the dramatic backdrop for a verbal tirade against generic conformity.  Bonus cut "That All U Got?" invokes the spirit of Ali & Foreman leaving industry machinations slumped in the corner, towel thrown.  The art of storytelling has returned on a release spanning all eras.

Taken from the "Natsukashii EP" out June 7th, the second in their 'Lazarus' series following April's "Y'All in Meltdown EP".

J-DubDMG - "Just Might Be"

All real, no gimmicks. A person like many around the world and seem to be rare for his age. Loving music all his life but didn’t want to be involved until late and as a hobby. At the age of 14, a class he took forced him to write poems and just received a lot of good feedback from them. As he made this a passion, music began to grab hold of his way to really release it all more vocally. Soon, he started with an local neighborhood crew, Infamous Clique and then after graduation, he joined the military....the United States Marines.

He never had a chance to really focus hard on the music, being that he was quickly overseas in Iraq but returned to North Carolina. Still looking at it to past as a fun activity, He had formed with fellow Marines on base and called themselves “Doin Me Entertainment” as solo acts but as a crew but soon disbanded due to military contracts being honored with members or assignments to other bases.

Next, J-Dub and Murda Rell finally parted ways after holding things together for so long. Back and for once on his own, J-Dub started to finally searching his ways and soon ran into some local North Carolina guys and formed 252 B.A.N.G. Gang(Bringin’ A New Generation). Soon as things started going good for him, his personal life have been taking attack but he kept on finding his way.

Now after a long hiatus, J-Dub is back at it all full force ready to give people some good music that he has been working on over the years. Now under his own identity and staying true to those he called his brothers coming up, Doin Me Global is what he’s hoping to re-establish in this technology world.

A star was born on December 22nd, 1991 in Vicksburg, Mississippi and his name is Treyvon Wilson A.k.a Trill Trey. He started pursuing music at a young age but didn't take it seriously until the departing of his beloved mother, he joined a rap group called Too-Trill/T3. Growing up Treyvons childhood wasn't the best or the worst but it was stable until his mother passed away when he was 10 years old. He grew up with so much pain, emptiness so it made him kind of grow up faster than an average kid.

Treyvon would listen to a variety of genres of music from Blues, Rap, Hip-Hop, R&B, and Gospel, but he gravitated towards more to rap and hip hop. He listened to artists like Lil Wayne and Trill Entertainment throughout his teenage years. The artists that influenced him to pursue a musical career were Master P, Rocko, and every other independent artist who turned their struggles into greatness. Treyvons beloved mother before she departed inspired him to do music of a way to vent his struggles. He has performed at 20+ talent shows, events, and showcases. Before going solo from his rap group Too-Trill/T3 to pursue a solo career they released a song titled "Studio Love".

After going solo he released his first single titled "Stay True". Due to the reaction to the song in his city he decided to release a mixtape titled "Trill Testimony" in June 2015 than released his first album the following year after in June 2016 titled "Make It Happen". The reason Treyvon wants to be an artist he says is because he wants to express and embrace a culture who feels his pain and help motivate and inspire people to be themselves while
chasing their dreams and goals.

Treyvon is determined to work day by day to reach his full potential and be strongly committed to achieve a position in the music industry to search for rising talents to give them an opportunity to live their dreams so that one day they can help their family and do the same thing he says. Treyvon partnered up with Colossal Music Group/Colossal Records based in California and Florida in the middle of January 2019 to help further his musical career.

The skies are looking clear as Treyvon is shooting by don't blink
or else you'll miss him passing by a city near you soon!

Artist Spotlight- Pop/R&B Artist Hailey Livingston drop PORCUPINE PLEASURES Video off Clap Back LP

Artist Spotlight- Artist Hailey Livingston drops PORCUPINE PLEASURES.

Hailey's Bio

Hello my name is Hailey Livingston. I am a 26 year old artist born and raised in Los Angeles. I quit my job as an Emergency Dispatcher saving lives just 3 years ago and have been pursuing artistic endeavors ever since. I perform open mic poetry all over LA but after going through a complicated relationship I felt compelled to make a beat to try song writing and I just couldn't stop! I also just happen to meet an amazing producer Brendan Moore AKA Ferguson at an art walk in LA and we connected instantly. Over the last 9 months we have created a body of work that we are both very proud of and genuinely love.

I just released my debut album “CLAP BACK”, an edgy female anthem, and wanted to share my new music with you guys. The album is a Pop/R&B vibe with two songs featuring the very talented rapper Alexander Watson who gives the male perspective. One of my favorite songs off the album is “PORCUPINE PLEASURES” ft. Alexander Watson. The song talks about how love can be full of pleasure and also pain. It is also probably my favorite music video we made. I created all the beats on the album, wrote all the lyrics, and produced/edited the music videos myself so this project is a true piece of my heart and soul that I have invested so much into. I have attached the links to Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud and social media where you can view the 4 music videos on YouTube. The album is also available to download on all music streaming services. Hope you enjoy!

Richmond, CA - When college math professor Chad Rico ventured off into the rap game, he knew he was taking a calculated risk.   As an entrepreneur, financial analyst, clothing manufacturer/designer, filmmaker and world traveler, many wondered if the teacher turned artist could really pull it off. When Chad dropped his own brand of mathematical science with a seven track EP entitled "Myth" and a debut single, "New Level," naysayers had to concede that the educator made a move to the head of the class! Now with the release of his video for "New Level," Chad is proving that his 'myth' status does indeed add up!

"New Level" is a total elevation experience. More a mini-movie than a music video, the three minutes plus immersion fi nds Chad as the captain of a spaceship and guardian of the galaxy. He and his crew travel to Planet Crunk and engage in an intergalactic shootout with Diablo Grande, played by veteran actor, Glenn Plummer, and his men, all in an attempt to rescue alien damsel in distress, Sasha Verde, the beautiful green space woman! The set, costumes, body art, makeup and weaponry all convey an artistic creativity that is essentially next level from what is normally delivered by new independent artists.

"I'm extremely grateful for all the positive feedback I've received since the release of 'Myth.' With the 'New Level' video, I wanted to deliver something special to my fans and supporters. As an independent artist, I believe it is important to stay cutting edge and creative. For me, "New Level" is a vision and a commitment and 'myth' status is my goal," expresses Chad. Produced by Chad's own company, Gold & Gems Production in conjunction with In Your Face Films, the video was directed by Damon Jamal with input from legendary film producer Haqq ShabazzJustin Amey wrote the treatment, Pashur provided the body art and Susan Gray served as stylist. "New Level" was filmed in the San Fernando valley, right outside of Los Angeles and one of the locations was from the original "Star Trek" set.

A Belizean American, Chad's legend began at birth when he was born in South Central Los Angeles, in the same hospital and at the same time as Grammy Award winning artist Kendrick Lamar. Currently repping for the Bay area, Chad's family relocated to Northern California where he now resides. The esteemed UC Berkeley alumni attended the university on academic scholarship at the age of 16! With a B.A. in African American Studies and Applied Math, and a masters in math from San Francisco State University, Chad also spent eight months in London in a graduate business program. The intentional student turned teacher has taught math at Contra Costa College, City College San Francisco, Berkeley City College and College of Alameda. The 31-year old has traveled to over 35 countries. In addition to his music company Gold & Gems, he has owned and operated his Gold & Gems clothing business for the past five years. The young college professor is also working with producer Haqq Shabazz to executive produce and release a film next year. "Party Bus" will be based on his adventures and misadventures while traveling. Chad's next video release will be "Northface in September" from Gold & Gem's artist, Kam Krzy. Take notes from Chad Rico at www.Chadrico.com and on Instagram at @internationchadrico . B.T. - "Better Days"

They say the world is filled with evil. Well, when making the judgment, they must have left Massachusetts rapper, B.T., out of the equation. Born Bryanne Toney, this Dorchester artist is on a breath-taking, philanthropic mission. In tandem with the upcoming, February drop of his spirited EP, “Better Days”, B.T. pledges to donate half of his record sales to The Base, a sports education organization. Alongside being an incredibly noble gesture, it is a grandiose opportunity for The Base, because this album is prone to push some units. How can it fail when the music is as loving and thoughtful as the mission behind it?

Within all four tracks, riding warm, empyrean instrumentals, are powerfully jolting rhymes. From themelodic, trap-rap aesthetic of “Problem”, to the Golden Era, boom-bap nature of the other three records (“For You I Will”, “They Look Up To Me”, and “Better Days”), B.T. never surrenders a moment. Every breath taken in that booth is devoted to an inspirational bar, motivational metaphor, and overall positive message to his following. With each track he reinforces the notion that there are still good souls walking our earth. Yes, we are in a rough spot. However, this fascinating music, and even further captivating act of charity, prove that so long as individuals like B.T. are around, the world will see “Better Days”.

B.T. (The Artist) is currently working on his new EP, titled, “Better Days.” The EP will contain three tracks: Anything; Better Days and Gutter, and will be released on February 8, 2019. The EP will be available on iTunes, Spotify and Tidal for just $3.99. He is hopeful that proceeds from “Better Days,” will make a strong impact in his community and at The BASE.

Bryanne Toney has announced that 50% of the proceeds from his upcoming EP will be donated to Boston-based The BASE, a non-profit organization that uses the power of baseball to change the game for urban youth. Bryanne has a strong connection to The BASE, having played for its baseball teams for years as a teen. Bryanne graduated from Fisher College in 2018 and is currently working for The BASE, encouraging student athletes to find their own pathway to academic or career success and inspiring them to reach their fullest potential by sharing his optimism and personal success story.
